Me and Frogo decided to try out Nick's Kitchen on a sunny Wednesday afternoon

First time eating at the student quad...a review of Nick's Kitchen
Nick's Kitchen at Student Quad

It's 12pm and everyone is getting a bite to eat, or so I thought. I personally wouldn't dare step outside to have lunch at this hour or to have lunch at all, because 1: its 12pm and 2: I'm a student. But perhaps there are options available on campus that are delicious and budget friendly.

Today I headed out to the student quad to try out the budgie meal from Nick's Kitchen. For 12pm I was surprised that there were not many people, though the crowd did heavily pick up at 12.30pm.

I tried their budgie meal, a Adobo chicken rice bowl, with spicy coco mayo for $9.90, which is also available in pork and tofu. For just under $10 this meal was a bang for buck and hit the spot for those of us experiencing the Wednesday blues. This meal was filling, budget-friendly, and most important of all, delicious.

Adobo Chicken Rice Bowl

The chicken was tender, well-marinated, flavored, and well-complemented with the fluffy rice. I had the option of adding spicy coconut mayo, which tied all the flavors together and gave a good balance of spice and sweetness.

The food was on point, and the service at Nick's Kitchen was efficient and impressive, with my order ready within a few minutes. With many more delicious-looking options on the menu, I look forward to coming here again.

So, if you're a student looking for a quick, filling, and tasty meal that won't break your bank, try out Nick's Kitchen.
